↑這是琪琪，雖然是我們家養的，看起來還是很像流浪狗。

There’s this cold front coming tomorrow and it’s freaking cold tonight already. Fortunately, it will never be as cold as it is in Toronto. Hopefully, it will be the last cold front this winter.

I hate hot weather. I like it cold.

I like the feeling of nice and crisp cold air in my lungs, it’s sensationally refreshing.
Well, but when it drops under 10 degrees, I start worry about the homeless animals in the bitterly cold weather.

There are homeless dogs wandering around across the street close to the restaurant I work for at night. I saw 3 of them earlier tonight, a black one, a yellowish… maybe golden retriever color one and a white one with cute black spots. I saw them walking through the traffic, waiting for the fall-behinds to catch up, jumping up and down the fence, running around chasing each other in the parking lot. They were actually having a blast! 

And suddenly, it hit me.

They were all free and happy living on the street, even they were abandoned and probably hate human, A LOT. 

I wish I could bring them all home, give them a hot bath and play Snoopy Cartoons for them but I can’t.

I just can’t afford 3 more big dogs and they probably won’t like my match box apartment.

Those dogs can never be tamed. Their hearts have gone wild. It’s probably the best for them to stay where they are now. 
I said a quick prayer right then and keep repeating it whenever I think of them.
I hope they can always find enough food and clean water and no cars will ever run them over. And most importantly, the people who abandoned them will BURN IN HELL.

It’s the year of Dog. Let’s be nice to all the crazy little doggies.
Actually, let’s be nice to all street animals for at least this year, please!?
